Senior Pet Care:
Most of our beloved pets never show any signs of pain or illness until they are either very painful or very sick. As your
veterinarian, it is our jobto educate our clients on how they can best care for their pets to provide a long and healthy
life. At Seven Hills Pet Clinic, we encourage our clientsfollow our Senior Wellness Program which includes periodical
bloodwork and pain management when necessary.
As your pet ages, there are many problems that we can detect at an early stage with a simple blood test. Many of these problems and diseases can be
controlled through proper therapy to extend your pet's life and improve the quality of his/her life.
Often people will notice their pet is moving a little slow, having trouble getting up, or not wanting to go up or down the stairs like they used to.
Even though this is common in senior pets, there are many options available to make your pet more active, comfortable, and live a longer healthier
life.
